Wow.  What a year so far and we are just halfway through it.  In the past four months we’ve seen a global pandemic, the highest unemployment since the Great Depression, and protests throughout the country over police brutality and the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery.  I know that you have been affected by at least one of these, and possibly all three.

While there is so much to say, nothing is quite enough.   And there are only a few things that we can do as a company and employer.

For those of you who are working on the front lines of the COVID-19 global pandemic, a heartfelt THANK YOU from all of us at MedNational Staffing!

As we all navigate through this pandemic, we want to let you know that you are important to us.  By now you have heard many pieces of advice on how to stay safe and healthy and we hope that you are following them. At MedNational Staffing  we have implemented a COVID-19 protocol for the protection of our employees and clients.

We have created a remote work plan where possible and have been working with our clients to provide on-site medical personnel for screening those essential workers reporting to physical job locations.  All employee payments have been moved to electronic payments to avoid physical checks being printed and mailed. Your resume is your calling card.  It is the first impression a potential employer may have of you, and it should look good.   Putting your best foot forward is not a function of luck, but rather of preparation and planning.  Read the job description and prepare your resume accordingly.

As a recruiting and staffing company, we see hundreds of resumes in a week.  When we review resumes, we find that many tend to share common mistakes.  The 5 mistakes most likely to get your resume put at the back of the pile are:

Not Visually Appealing – Your resume should look good.
